Family Medical Care
As a general family practitioner, Dr. White treats both acute and chronic conditions. Dr. White sees patients ranging in age from infants to those well into their 9th decade. She treats common viral and bacterial infections, allergies, eczema, chronic fatigue symptoms, arthritis, and irritable bowel type syndromes. In addition, she performs routine health exams including school physicals, well woman annual exams and insurance physicals.
Dr. White also treats Lyme disease and tick borne illness. As an International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS) memeber Dr. White is aware of the most up to date discussions, treament options and treatment strategies. She utilizes both allopathic and naturopathic means of treatment, tailored to each individual patient.
Using preventative medicine with a whole body, whole health philosophy, Dr. White believes it is important to identify and treat the underlying root causes of illness, including physical, mental, emotional and spiritual imbalances. Prevention is accomplished through education and promotion of life habits that create good health.
She believes in educating and encouraging patients to take responsibility for their health.
